Barry Beaux was founded in 2009. All products are designed and handmade in SC. We specialize in designing custom fabrics for our customers. Frances the founded, designer and sewer loves working with brides and grooms to make their wedding party stand out, incorporating business logos but also enjoy creating custom and personalized gifts for individual orders. Frances is born and raised here in Mt. Pleasant, SC and her love of the low country shows in her coastal, Charleston designs.

Our sister line, Twin Shem, is a line of coastal jewelry created by Frances and her twin sister, Martha The twins are natives of Mt. Pleasant and Shem Creek is their main source of inspiration. Boating, fishing, and beaching are some of their favorite things. They believe that just because you wear a bathing suit 90% of summertime doesn't mean you can't accessorize! Shop their Bikini Beads, Boat Beads and Beach Beads to accessorize like the locals! All products are handmade in South Carolina. 

In 2022, Frances took over Your Alteration Shoppe which is a brick and mortar where you can get your clothes repaired and tailored. She has a talented team of seamstresses to help the Charleston area with all their clothing needs! You can purchase Barry Beaux and Twin Shem on site here. In 2025, Frances had her own set of fraternal twins. Being an identical twin, she always wanted twins herself! With the birth of her twins she invented the Star Bottle Prop as a way to survive as a twin mom! Hands-free feeding the babies helped her survive the the first serval months! The Star Bottle Prop is a must-have for every new mom, whether they have twins or a singleton! Everyone can use a helping hand!
